Jenny Liggio
Head Coach
Jenny Carey- Liggio graduated from Keyport High School as a 1000 point scorer and State Champion in 1995. From there, she received a scholarship to play basketball at Monmouth University. After two years she transferred to continue playing at Rider University, where she graduated again as a 1000 point scorer. After graduation she went to play professionally for Perik Jumpers in Enschede, Netherlands. Once home she began teaching in the Neptune School District and began coaching at Raritan High School. Soon after, she moved her teaching career to the Hazlet School District where she has been teaching 8th grade Literature for the past 21 years. She has also coached at Matawan High School, Hazlet Middle School, Colts Neck travel and The Sting AAU program. For the last 6+ years Jenny has been a coach with the ShoreShots.

Jenny Liggio
Jenny is married to her husband Matt of 20 years, who is a US Customs K-9 Officer, and have 4 children. Her oldest son, Matthew plays Varsity football at Colts Neck High School. Her eldest daughter, Christina plays for the 2025 Shoreshots. The youngest, twins Tessa and Katie, play for the 2026 Shoreshots. All three girls play Varsity basketball at Red Bank Catholic High School.
Jenny’s sister Tracy Allocco-Tagliaferri was also a 4 year scholarship basketball player at Monmouth University. Her niece Frankie Tagliaferri was a scholarship soccer player at Penn State, was a member of the Youth National Soccer teams and is currently playing for the NWSL NC Courage.
