Michelle Steele

Coach
Michelle Steele is a multi-sport athlete whose training began at age five. She holds three Black Belts in different martial arts, is a New Jersey State Champion, Northeast USA Champion, and a six-time Top Ten finisher at the World Championships in Little Rock, Arkansas. 
Michelle was a four-year varsity basketball player, completing her high school career at Ranney School (Tinton Falls, NJ), where she helped lead her team to a Shore Conference A-North Division title. Scroll down to read more about Coach Michelle Steele.

Michelle Steele is a multi-sport athlete whose training began at age five. She holds three Black Belts in different martial arts, is a New Jersey State Champion, Northeast USA Champion, and a six-time Top Ten finisher at the World Championships in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Michelle was a four-year varsity basketball player, completing her high school career at Ranney School (Tinton Falls, NJ), where she helped lead her team to a Shore Conference A-North Division title. She earned 2025 A-North All-Division Second Team honors and was selected to the Shore Conference All-Star Team. She also excelled as a three-year varsity Flag Football Quarterback, earning First Team All-Shore honors. 
Michelle is at Thomas Jefferson University, were she is playing basketball for legendary coach Tom Shirley, one of colleges winningest coaches with over 900 wins.
A proud alumni of the Shoreshots program, Michelle played under Coach Marybeth Chambers on the U17 team. Her time with Shoreshots helped develop her deep understanding of the game and fueled her love for basketball.
She is a true example of the success that comes from the Shoreshots AAU system.
